Too much for me to handle?
I did six hours of aikido today! Erm, aching everywhere especially my wrists. Haha. What? Theres only so many times your wrist can take locked by black belts before your hands lose their basic abilities like say, use chopsticks or SMS people. I am not crazy! It is perfectly fine to go for six hours of being thrown about and have your arms bent and twisted in weird un-natural directions, besides, it's good exercise and stretching ... Fine! yes, I'm trying to kill myself but slowly! So there! :D

On a serious note, I'm considering cutting down. Well, my mind can keep going when it starts to get interested in aikido, but well, my body can't exactly keep up. I previously thought that it was because I was unfit, but its not really that. I can handle the stamina-draining parts just fine, even though it can be really tiring especially if you don't breathe properly, but its just my joints that maybe can't take it.

I'm been practicing so regularly that any injuries such as friction burns and strained joints do not have time to recover for the next session which is usually the day after. So yeah, although I'm not getting many new significant injuries, the few that I had were worsening, especially the friction burn on my foot. Doesn't really help that grading is in two to three weeks either ... :S

Maybe its synchronisation of the mind and body, where one is put through as much hell as the other. Not quite there yet though. :(
